I have been a GoTryThis user since you launched the application several years ago and GTT is an integral part of my online business management and marketing strategy. Although the application has evolved to provide a lot of great new functionalities and valuable data for users that I have yet to learn, I mostly use it to cloak affiliate links in my web and email content and to integrate it with my domains so users see all links as being a part of my site. I think the move to providing the application across multiple domains was a tremendous leap in the evolution of GTT.

Although nowadays I am focusing more and more on just the few online businesses and methods that generate positive returns, I did start out my internet marketing path with multiple sites promoting multiple affiliate programs. GTT is vital for helping me manage all of my affiliate links, promotions and content across dozens of sites. The fact that I can control all of my links from one place has proven to be a huge timesaver, especially on instances where affiliate providers change the information on the destination URL (e.g. ClickBank vendors switching products) or go out of business. I just replace the target URL and don't have to go looking for all the places where I have put those links.

I mostly use GTT for links and Amazon S3 for images for controlling most of my web content. This process has now become automatic for me - I almost never use the original source link anymore - just fire up GTT, add a new link to one of my existing domains (or set up a new domain if no topic-related domain has already been set up), then grab the redirection link and append a reference to the end of it for tracking and add it to the content. It's a couple of minutes work but well worth it in the long run. In 2008 I experienced a complete and irreversible loss of all of my websites and data with my previous host provider and was able to restore all of my affiliate promotions from the GTT export sheet I had made just prior to this shattering event. (Editor's Note: GTT now has a "recreate all links" button.)

I am now starting to focus on some of my own products and services more than affiliate marketing and GTT is very useful in this area as well. For example, I own a business where we sell directory listings to a particular niche market. The prototype sales system I've developed includes having salespeople call prospects over the phone, then send a link to more information on the website prior to following up and closing the sale. With GTT I can track which salesperson sent the link and pay them the sales referral commission. I am sure GTT will naturally evolve in time to provide users with a complete affiliate tracking system.

As I mentioned earlier, I currently use GTT in its most basic form. Sometimes I split-test offers as well, so the information that is most important to me at the moment is just the basic referencing I append to the end of the redirect link to identify where the click has come from. I need to learn how to use the data reporting capabilities better, especially shortening URLs for Twitter, tagging links, understanding the various options offered by the links, etc - right now I'm just happy to know that I have the data available if I ever want or need to analyze it.

Finally, something that cannot be overlooked is just how responsive you are to GTT users. The customer support you provide is superlative - I just hope that you have plans to develop a customer support team that can match your responsiveness as GTT grows and you get busy with other areas of your business, which I'm sure will happen.

I hope the above is helpful to you. GTT is a vital part of my online marketing strategy and I look forward to being a continued part of its development, growth and success.

Best regards,
